Our Climate Ambassador at the Climate Council | 21-25 February 2022

Our student Vera Pöhrenk, who was selected as Özyeğin University's Climate Ambassador, attended the climate ambassadors workshop of the United Nations (UN) and the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change on January 31 and February 1. Within the scope of the workshop, all Climate Ambassadors selected from universities in Turkey came together and created the youth declaration. While creating the declaration, climate ambassadors compiled the problems they observed regarding sustainability in Turkey and possible solutions. Climate ambassadors will take part in the Climate Council to be held in Konya on February 21-25, representing their universities and presenting their declaration.
